After about two hours, you?ll arrive at Agrigento Valle dei Templi station. From there, it?s easy to reach the archaeological park?one of the most spectacular and well-preserved ancient Greek sites in the world, and a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site.
?Tip: If you purchase your Trenitalia ticket to Agrigento Valle dei Templi, it includes access to the AG101 shuttle bus, which takes you directly from the station to the main entrance of the site. Alternatively, you can enjoy a 20-minute walk to the park.

Begin your visit at the eastern entrance, near the Temple of Juno (Giunone), and follow the Sacred Way (Via Sacra), which leads you through the most iconic monuments of the archaeological park:
- Temple of Juno: Located at the highest point of the site, it offers breathtaking panoramic views.
- Temple of Concordia: One of the best-preserved Doric temples in the world, dating back to the 5th century BC.
- Villa Aurea: A historic residence set in lush greenery, now used as the park?s official venue for events and receptions.
- Temple of Heracles (Hercules): The oldest temple in the park, recognizable by its eight standing columns.
- Temple of Zeus Olympios: Though in ruins, it was once one of the largest temples of the ancient world.
- Temple of the Dioscuri: A symbol of Agrigento, known for its four partially reconstructed columns.
